Navy Impact

Updated: Feb 14, 2019

This is a project in which I created a sustainable denim clothing brand called Navy Impact with cohesive, active online presence along with engaging content. The brand’s online presence focuses mainly on developing content, from curation to original material, and from graphics and videos to livestreams and podcasts. The content is distributed cohesively throughout different social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.

Facebook

On Facebook, the brand would feature posts that engage the viewers to interact such as asking fun questions, polls. Curated content from sources that relevant to the brand would also be featured. And promotional posts on new products or new contents are also utilized to help drive more traffic.

Twitter

Similar content would also be featured on Twitter to keep things cohesive throughout different platforms. With Twitter, the use of hashtags and GIF (graphic interchange format) can also help the tweets be more appealing and reach out to a broader, more specific audience.

Instagram

Instagram is a very visual driven platform. Therefore, using appealing, yet relevant photos is very important to drive catch the viewer attention. Besides the standard picture posts, Instagram also offers other useful tools that aid the process of developing engaging content such as “Instagram Stories” and “Livestream.” And of course, all the content is relevant to the brand and what it represents, and stay consistent with other platforms as well.

YouTube

For this platform, I created hub content, which means it represents the regular features of the brand. Navy Impact features serial segments on YouTube such as vlogs and podcast series.
